Who we are, and who pays us.
Bonded Lot certifies lots of research peptides and publishes what the laboratories find. We work across the United States.
Ownership
Bonded Lot is owned by The Bio Logic Foundation. Bonded Lot is a separate company and runs the program on its own: it works with the laboratories, makes every certification decision, owns the BONDED LOT mark and publishes the results.
The Bio Logic Foundation takes no part in certification: no testing, no choosing laboratories, no certification decision, no fee-setting and no enforcement. The mark carries its name as the program's owner, not as the body doing the certifying.
How we're funded
Sellers pay Bonded Lot to certify their lots. That is how the program is paid for, and reading a result always remains free to the people buying the product.
Our fee rates never vary with a test result. Testing kits are billed at cost plus a small margin, and are paid for whether or not a lot is released by the seller. Publication is a flat per-vial rate, the same for every enrolled seller regardless of size, and is charged only when a seller releases a lot. We earn when the certification process is used — never on what it finds.
The full fee structure goes to anyone who asks for it. Bonded Lot pays the laboratories directly, so no laboratory is ever paid by the seller whose material it is testing.
Our commitments
Bonded Lot:
- does not and will not produce, sell, distribute or market any product it certifies, or any other research compound;
- takes no commission, affiliate payment or revenue share on any sale of certified goods, and carries no affiliate links;
- offers no consulting on results. We don't advise a seller on how to get a different result, and we don't tell a seller which laboratories will test a lot;
- sets fee rates that never vary with a result, and publishes every result as measured;
- will not publish, as a certification result, a result from any laboratory that Bonded Lot or The Bio Logic Foundation owns;
- discloses its ownership, and publishes any change in it.
Published as measured. Bonded Lot does not rate or judge results.
Standards
The program is designed against ISO/IEC 17065, the international standard for bodies certifying products. Bonded Lot is not accredited to that standard.
Accreditation is a commitment, not an afterthought: we will apply as soon as an accreditation body will accept an application from a certifier at our stage, and we will publish the outcome either way.
The testing standard and the scheme it belongs to are published before the first lot is certified, and every version stays available.
