What we do
Testing the buyer can trust, because the seller doesn't control it.
A product page can show a laboratory certificate for any sample, tested at any time. Bonded Lot ties testing to a declared lot, keeps the seller out of every decision that could shape the result, and publishes what the laboratories find.
The process, end to end
We pack and send a kit
Each kit is packed by Bonded Lot with two laboratories drawn at random from the panel, recorded at pack time. Nobody chooses the pair, and a replacement kit keeps the same two.
The seller declares the lot
Before anything is tested: the product, the declared strength and whether that is the powder or the peptide alone, how many vials the lot holds, and its upstream reference. The seller then registers the kit by scanning its seal.
Whole vials go to the laboratories
The seller draws finished, unopened vials from the lot being sold and sends one testing kit to each laboratory. A third is retained by Bonded Lot, unopened, in cold storage.
The laboratories test blind
Each laboratory sees a sample identifier, not a seller or a brand. It records the condition of the seal, runs the panel and reports to Bonded Lot, never to the seller.
Results are bound to the lot
Both sets of results enter a permanent, append-only record. Nothing is edited or removed.
The record goes public
When a lot is released, its page opens at a ten-character code printed on the packing slip. Reading it is free: no account, no login, no charge, ever.
What gets tested
Every certified lot is tested for:
- Identity, by mass spectrometry — is it the compound it is supposed to be;
- Purity, by a common method every laboratory on the panel runs, so results can be compared;
- Content — how much is actually in the vial, measured against the seller's own declaration.
Each result names the laboratory that produced it, with its accreditation status for that particular test.
Endotoxin and heavy metals are tested by manufacturing-batch origin: a group of lots that share an upstream batch is tested once the group reaches an internal threshold, paid for by Bonded Lot.
No lot is ever described as safe, or as being for anything other than research use only.
No verdicts
Published as measured. Bonded Lot does not rate or judge results. There is no pass or fail, no score, no rating and no threshold a lot has to clear. The page shows what each laboratory measured, the method, and how closely the two agree, and the reader draws the conclusion.
We audit the results: a share of certified lots is bought anonymously at retail each year and tested again, so a published record can't drift away from what ships.
How we're built
The program is designed against ISO/IEC 17065, the international standard for bodies certifying products. Bonded Lot is not accredited to that standard.
Accreditation is a commitment, not an afterthought: we will apply as soon as an accreditation body will accept an application from a certifier at our stage, and we will publish the outcome either way.
